Thoughts: I’m giving up on my poor, trusty Handspring Visor Neo PDA. Yesterday at my parents’ house, the little gadget died on me again even though the battery indicator showed that it still should have had 20% power left! I lost a week’s worth of daily exercise and food log entries this time around.
This was the third time my PDA has done this to me, and I’m getting tired of re-entering all of my information. I was so annoyed that even as I was hotsyncing the Neo (with fresh batteries) to my desktop last night, I started looking at used Visor Prisms (the posh, color screen version of my PDA that’s compatible with all of my accessories) on eBay. I’d been considering one a few weeks ago, so I knew the typical closing prices. I watched a reasonably-low auction on one of them last night, but when it ended at $76, I figured I’d just skip the stress and do a Buy It Now on another listing for $70. My Prism will be here by Thursday, and then it’s tech archive drawer time for the little red battery-sucking Neo.
I felt a little bad for the poor Neo this morning as I carried it around the gym to log my UBWO sets, but then as I got on the treadmill for my post-workout jog, the unit slipped out of my hands, the batteries went flying (one of them INTO the innards of the treadmill where I couldn’t retrieve it), and I lost my data AGAIN! ARGH!
It was a sign.
I can’t wait until the Prism gets here. This Neo is due for retirement.

8:20 am UBWO at Gold’s (Had to superset chest/shoulders and triceps/biceps due to time constraints, but still increased weights in two exercises. :smile:)
9:20 am treadmill run: 5 mph / 0% incline / 15 min.
