Fitness Journal C3W5D7

Thoughts: I am seriously running out of food in my apartment and there are now FOUR piles of laundry separated into appropriate color/usage groupings on my bed waiting for their turn in my spacesaver washer/dryer. I will have to go grocery shopping tonight because I am essentially down to lettuce, whey protein powder, and two containers of oats. While I could technically stay on BFL nutrition with these items, some variety would be nice. Likewise the laundry MUST get done tonight since I am out of socks, a rare thing given that I have about 14 pairs of the things. I feel like I’ve barely been inside my own place for the past few weeks between work and almost daily visits to my parents’ house during my vacation week. I miss my old boring routine so much it’s pathetic.

Nutrition (1600 calorie low zig-zag day)

1: 2 caramel apple Luna bars
2: 1 scoop whey, 1 bag low fat popcorn
3: Panera Asian Sesame Chicken salad w/sourdough roll
4: 1 scoop whey, French cruller doughnut (I know…bad me. Need to
go shopping)
5: Chicken stew
6: Blueberry banana shake or healthy take out option at work

Supplements:
Multivitamin with iron
Calcium 500 + D
1 T. flax seed oil

Calories eaten / deficit for yesterday = 2151 / +452 (target 0)
Water: 12 cups
Ratios: 40% carb / 27% protein / 35% fat

Workout:

3 pm one-mile walk
9:30 pm 20 minute HIIT run (4.5, 6, 7, 8, 9 mph intervals)
9:50 pm 30 minute steady-state run (6 mph)
10:30 pm 20 minute yoga cooldown workout

The Awful Truth:
1. Had a French cruller doughnut this morning.
2. Overslept and will have to do cardio workout tonight

1. Have already chugged down 8 cups of water before 2 pm. 8 more to go!
2. Took care of my hair cut yesterday.
3. Caught up on missed sleep last night.

1. Do laundry.
2. Prep a new batch of bars.
3. Prep oatmeal tuna salad snacks.
4. Bake another batch of banana bread.
