This was a pretty frugal week for groceries, though I did have to pick up another Instone Nutrition supplement for the month of July to qualify for the official challenge. I went with a 4-pack of the high protein pudding in chocolate from Drugstore.com for $6.39. I picked it up with an assortment of non-challenge-related items like styling creme and face wash to get free shipping and no sales tax.
After reviewing usage (or lack thereof), I did decide to remove the can of cooking spray from last week’s expenses. I may wind up removing the $5.24 box of 200 sucralose/Splenda packets from my week 1 grocery tab as well since I have not been using that, either. I’m on a budget here folks! I can’t afford to count what is turning out to be my boyfriend’s personal coffee sweetener as part of MY grocery bill.

Even with the addition of the (outrageously expensive!) protein pudding, my remaining average weekly grocery budget climbed to $17.22/week for the remaining 7 weeks of this program. This is a good thing….My chicken breast supply will be running low in about another week and a half, and I’ll have to allocate another $30 or so to another round of lean protein to last me through the end of the challenge.
