TTW7D1: Am I The Only One?
Logo There are:
people with my name
in the U.S.A.

How many have your name?

Apparently not. 😆

A couple of the DJs on my local talk radio station were talking about the web site during my lunchtime drive to pick up my lunch via the bank and gas station today. Of course the first thing I did when I got back was plug my own name into the database to see how many other Maggies, Wangs, and Maggie Wangs lived in the USA.

We wouldn’t even fill up an aerobics class.

How many people share YOUR first and last name?

  1. There are either 4 or 213 people with my name depending on whether I use my actual first name or my middle name which is what I normally use as my name. According to this site there are 0 people in the US with my best friend’s last name so I’m not sure how accurate this is.

  2. There are 2,082 that share my fist and last name. What is scary is that there are
3,017,684 that share my last name alone. Hubby & my son obviously would be two of those 3, 017, 684. LOL

Breaking things down further, there are 206,978 that spell “Stacy” the same way.

I was curious how that was going to come up as people spell it all different ways. Stacey, Stacie, ect. I have fought with countless people regarding the proper spelling of my name.

I had a french boss one time whose name was Par . It is pronounced *Pear*. I got mad at him after months of spelling my name wrong so I threatened to add an “e” to his name as he did with mine so that it would confirm that he had the brains of a piece of fruit.

The name battles continue however. My son’s name is Nicholaus, however, everybody insists on spelling it Nicholas which is incorrect. According to hubby, Nicholaus is the proper spelling in Germany so that is how he has been taught to spell it. His school has accepted the stange spelling of his name while nobody else has.

  3. 20 of me with my married name, and ZERO with my maiden name. 😉 I should have just kept my original last name to stay unique!
