141.4 today and slowly inching back down to my 139.6 low from Saturday. I ran for 25 minutes this morning at 6-6.2 mph / 1% incline and walked for 20 minutes at 3.5 mph / 5-7% incline. This was a fasted workout, but I didn’t feel too tired. Moving my training runs off of my lifting days helps a lot. Yesterday’s meals were on plan, and water intake was around 1 gallon.
It is beautiful outside, and I am looking forward to my lunchtime walk. It’s partly sunny and 84 degrees, but humidity isn’t bad at all and there is a nice breeze. For Orlando, this is pretty much as good as it gets in the fall.
I restocked my food last night after I got off work at 9 pm. Chicken breast, eggs, fruit, raisins, veggies, soy milk, WW bread, and other healthy staples have all been loaded into my kitchen once more. Part of my haul is over 12 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breast, so I will have to select some recipes today and assemble my own Dream Dinners-style thaw and serve entree bundles tonight.
My experimental peanut butter chocolate protein popsicles are a total success. I had one last night and could not get over how yummy it was. To make, add 2 T. all natural peanut butter to the original protein fudgsicle recipe by cutting it into the dry ingredients (protein powder, cocoa, and pudding mix) with a potato masher, fork, or two knives until well-distributed and crumbly. Then add milk or soy milk as usual and mix for two minutes with a wire whisk. This adds about 50 cals of mostly healthy fat to each serving and makes your already divine fudgsicle taste like an ice cream peanut butter cup.
Yeah, it’s that good.
Chris is back on schedule with P90X. By the time I got home last night he had already done his Back and Biceps workout, and this morning he was warming up with Plyo X when I left for the gym. Good boy!
