1/22/08 Log: My Personal Skating Rink

I’m trying a little experiment today.

As some of you know, I have used the fourth floor of the parking garage at my office complex as a personal gym for bodyweight workouts, stair and running intervals, and even Forza workouts. Nobody ever parks up there as there is more than enough parking at ground level much closer to the office buildings themselves, and at this time of year the roof is breezy, sunny, and free of debris.

It’s going to make a KICK-ASS inline skating rink for me during my lunch break!

  1. Maggie,

I see you’ve added Digest-All to your list of daily supplements. I did a quick search on it and it seems interesting, but was wondering if you could talk more about your experience?

Thanks! And your company’s parking lot sounds like an awesome perk!

  2. Cat – I started using Digest-All off and on when I was working with Kim Oddo of Bodybyo.com. Basically, it’s a plant-based digestive enzyme cocktail in capsule form that helps to more completely break down all of the foods you take in, particularly starches and proteins. The classy, scientific rationale for this is to improve nutrient absorption. The crassy, real world effect is that it REALLY helps to cut down on the gassy side effect of eating a whole lot of protein in every meal, LOL. Let’s just say that when I don’t have Beano around, I make my husband take TWO Digest-All before he is allowed to partake of anything even vaguely resembling Mexican food or chili. :em52:
