I was looking for something cheap and crafty to do while enjoying a little Star Trek: The Next Generation season 2 marathon today when I came across Lion Brand Yarn’s free crochet pattern collection.
It turns out that they have a slew of quick and easy amigurumi (cute crocheted or knitted plush toys) patterns available for download. By quick, I mean that most of the patterns take less than an hour or two to complete, even for a very occasional yarn tinkerer like me.
Here it is–my very first catnip-stuffed fortune cookie cat toy made of yarn.
Neville even gave it his official snuffle of approval. (He looked like he had a case of Velcro cookie paw for a while due to the unique magnetic attraction between cheap acrylic Ghetto-Mart yarn and razor-sharp kitty claws that are a bit overdue for clipping.)
