Hey, hey! It’s a new month, and what better way to start things off than with a day off from work? We had a pretty lazy Saturday and Sunday, so I felt compelled to get some things done on this day off from labor.
Today I:
- made breakfast with my DH
- got in my chest/shoulders/tri workout
- did the laundry and dishes
- visited my parents
- stocked up on groceries
- paid the bills
- finished up September’s budget (and got DH to look it over even though I KNEW it was 100% PERFECT as it was)
- watched disc 3 of Star Trek: TNG (Season 2)
- crocheted a catnip ball for my furry kids
- took starting measurements for the September 100 challenge at the John Stone Fitness forum and the Pink Dumbbells Lean, Mean Halloween 2008 challenge
- treated myself to a blank book with nifty graph paper pages and a crochet book called The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller of Stitch ‘n Bitch knitting book fame. The blank book was on clearance for $2.25, and the crochet book was only $11.15 after I whipped out my 30% off Borders coupon, so I didn’t blow all of my September fun money in one go.
Hmm…Did I miss anything? Oh yeah–I also brined a chicken for roasting tomorrow morning and printed out my cancellation request for LA Fitness. I don’t need two gym memberships, and I don’t use the pool at LAF enough to justify the cost.
Strange–Why do I feel like I just worked a full eight hour day?
